In his mission to bolster security measures in Plateau State , Major General Folusho Oyinlola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 3 Division of the Nigerian Army and Commander of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), embarked on a series of visits to key security agencies. These included the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

General Oyinlola emphasized the critical importance of inter-agency cooperation in combating the prevailing security threats and criminal activities plaguing the region. He stressed that dismantling existing rivalries and fostering a unified front was essential to effectively address the multifaceted security challenges facing the state. During his visit to the NIS, General Oyinlola underscored the vital role immigration services play in the fight against insecurity. He stated, 'No agency or organization can defeat insecurity and criminality alone. We require full collaboration among security agencies to address the myriad security challenges in the state.' Linda Fom, the State Comptroller of Immigration, welcomed General Oyinlola's visit and reaffirmed her agency's commitment to supporting the Nigerian Army's mission. She highlighted the pressing issue of underage trafficking, stating, 'We have arrested several criminals trafficking children to unknown destinations. We seek the support of the GOC to address this pressing issue.' At the NDLEA headquarters in Jos, General Oyinlola reiterated his call for the abolishment of inter-agency rivalry. He emphasized, 'A safe and secure Plateau State is to the benefit of us all. The vital role this organization plays as the leading force in the fight against drug abuse cannot be overemphasised.' He further highlighted the undeniable link between illicit drugs and criminal activities, asserting, 'Many criminals, including terrorists and bandits, often rely on these substances to carry out their heinous acts.' Tony Gotar, the State Commander of the NDLEA, expressed gratitude for General Oyinlola's visit and pledged to enhance cooperation with the Nigerian Army. He proposed a specialized training program for Army personnel on identifying drug concealment methods in vehicles, stating, 'Our agency is committed to working alongside the Nigerian Army to rid the state of drug kingpins.' At the FRSC, Sector Commander Maxwell Lede commended the existing collaboration with the Nigerian Army, stating, 'The Army has assumed a leadership position in security architecture, and we at the FRSC always emulate their efforts.'
