Nigeria decides: Police arrests Kano Commissioner, LGA Chairman
The duo were arrested over alleged attempt to destroy election result sheets for the just concluded governorship and Assembly elections.
The statement explained that the suspects were arrested at about 1 am at Nassarawa Local Government Collation Centre in Kano. According to the statement, security operatives had to rescue the Deputy Governor of the state Dr Nasiru Gawuna from the scene.
