Police arrest ballot box snatchers in Kano
Our reporter who visited the scene of the event gathered from an eye witness that some hoodlums in their numbers attempted to snatch the ballot box, but were stopped by security agencies who released gunshots in the air. The suspects were later apprehended by the police and are currently in police custody.
In another development, at Sabuwar Juma Polling Unit in Warawa Local Government Area, it was observed that underage voting was going on there, as there were inadequate security personnel in the area.
