Thousands of youths, women and party faithful of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Niger State troop out to rally support for its Presidential
The one million road walk rally started from Minna City Gate to Bahago Roundabout.
The PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Samuel Gwomna in his address explained that the party will bring back free education for both primary to secondary levels across the state. It would be recalled that the present APC government in Niger State is allegedly owing the National Examination Council, NECO, over N500m for students who sat in the internal examinations from the state.
Speaking, the state Chairman of the Party, Tanko Beji told the party supporters that the rally was organized by the 52 youth support groups for the PDP presidential and Governorship candidates, adding that the turnout was a very good signal to a successful 2023 elections. Expressing joy, he added, “I am particularly happy that the youths are more interested in credible leaders that can deliver. They want leaders that can give credible leadership in the country and in the State to guarantee the future of the country”
