Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has assured of his administration's preparedness to give top priority to ongoing projects in the state and ensure high-quality delivery. Bello, who said this during an assessment tour of ongoing projects in the state, hinged the decision on the shortfall in revenue generation due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

At the re-awarded 10Km Tagwai Dam road project site in Tungan- Goro, Chanchaga, which cost N678m, he said his government is taking inventory of all on-going projects in the state. ” I will see to it that no abandoned project is left in the State. All the projects that have a direct impact on the people will be completed.”
According to him, the government will continue to monitor the contractors to ensure that they speed up work and finish in good time, and as stipulated in the contract terms.
