The Niger House of Assembly joint Committees on Works/ Infrastructure and Health/Nutrition ordered the immediate suspension of ongoing construction work at IBB University Teaching Hospital.
They also ordered the Contractors handling the project to appear before the Committee to effect correction where necessary and save the N18b teaching hospital project. The committee alleged poor performance and irregularities at the construction site by the contractors handling the project. The House Committee Chairman on Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Arc.
