Ndume blows hot over Oshiomhole’s adoption of Ahmed Lawan as next Senate President
s Congress Party, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, to adopt Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan, as the Senate President of the ninth Assembly.
Ndume, while addressing journalists on Tuesday in Abuja, said that the choice of Lawan was an unpopular and unconstitutional decision.According to him, Lawan’s imposition by the party leadership contravenes Section 50 of the 1999 constitution which gave the Senators-elect the right to elect their leaders on the day of inauguration.
