THE National Orientation Agency, NOA, on Tuesday, disclosed that the Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved its memoranda seeking to entrench value orientation, saying FEC sanctioned the first stanza of the national anthem for rendition at official functions, while the three stanzas should be for special occasions.

Addressing newsmen in Lagos, the Director General of NOA, Lanre Issa-Onilu, represented by the Director of Human Resources of NOA, Mrs Olowoyo Ayesola, said citizenship study would also be made a compulsory component of the education system from primary to secondary school. “It also mandates us to promote democracy as the best model of government and promote values that will ensure peace and orderliness.”
