The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has assured the public that it will continue to address concerns raised regarding the selection of 10 private companies to handle the 2025 Hajj operations.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria ( NAHCON ) has assured the public that it will continue to address concerns raised regarding the selection of 10 private companies to handle the 2025 Hajj operations. The chairman of the commission, Professor Saleh Usman, announced this in a statement released by the commission's Director of Public Affairs, Hajiya Fatima Usara.

The statement reads: 'In view of the concerns received following the announcement of 10 private companies approved to handle the 2025 Hajj operations, the Commission wishes to inform the public that it is ready to receive complaints regarding any of these major companies. This is in line with the Commission's mandate to address any allegations against its selection process with fairness and justice,' the statement said. Usman called on those with valid evidence indicating the unsuitability of any of these companies to submit their evidence before Friday, January 3rd. 'These submissions will assist in conducting a thorough review and investigation, which will enable the Commission to take appropriate action if allegations are substantiated,' he stated. Usman assured that all submitted information will be treated confidentially and that all investigations will be conducted based on the Commission's commitment to justice. He also appealed for cooperation and understanding from stakeholders and the general public in achieving the Commission's objectives
