Victorian killer and rapist Raymond "Mr Stinky" Edmunds has been sentenced to 23 years' more in jail after admitting to brutalising more women.
Edmunds, 75, admitted to 10 additional charges including multiple rapes, indecent assault and false imprisonment during the 1970s and 1980s. "It is difficult to find words to describe your horrific offending," Victorian County Court Judge Susan Pullen said today. In one 1977 case, Edmunds told a woman he just wanted to "make love". He'd been watching her for two weeks and knew her children were in their bedrooms.
" likely feared their children might be harmed in some way if they did not comply with your demands," Judge Pullen noted. But he will never be released having already been sentenced to life in prison in 1986 for the 1966 murders of teenagers Abina Madill and Garry Heywood near Shepparton.
