The price tag of Samuel Chukwueze has pushed Milan to consider alternatives to the Villarreal winger and they’ve highlighted three who could be a good fit, reports suggest.

Nelson may be the hardest of the three to secure, with reports claiming that he’s already verbally agreed a new contract with Arsenal. Sarr’s deal expires with Watford next year and could be snapped up for an accessible price, whilst Doku’s contract expires with Rennes in 2025.

Chukwueze has been a subject of transfer stories this summer with Madrid, Tottenham and AC Milan closely linked with the player. AS reported that Milan looked at the Nigerian winger after missing out on Brahim Diaz. The 24-year-old has a year left on his current deal with the Yellow Submarines and there is no surprise that rumours about his future are becoming ever more frequent.

Recently, Villarreal manager Quique Setien admitted that the Super Eagles forward could leave this summer and a figure of around €40m has been quoted for the player. All rights reserved.
