A midnight fire outbreak in the transmission station of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has thrown parts of Awka, the Anambra State
The affected areas, which include the Anambra State government house, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and numerous other areas may likely celebrate Easter in darkness.
Eze said: “EEDC wishes to inform her esteemed customers in Anambra State that the loss of supply currently being experienced in some parts of the state is a result of a fire outbreak at the Agu-Awka TCN Station. “The TCN engineers are already at work and we are on standby to restore supply as soon as the fault is addressed.”
