The Delta State government has sent a 32 years old woman back to her native Anambra for constituting a nuisance as a street beggar.
A press release by the media aide to the Commissioner, Chidinma Ikeanyionwu said the repatriated woman was empowered and handed over to the women’s leader in her community in Nnewi. “Obinabo who did not spare the repatriated beggar frowned at the act but encouraged her to be an agent of change by engaging in a trade to fend for herself and her child.
