The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Prof. Wasiu Adeyemo, has said the index Lassa fever patient will be discharged soon.
In an interview with our correspondent on Monday, Adeyemo said the patient’s condition was improving and would soon be discharged.
Recall that the Lagos State on February 19 recorded a case of the Lassa hemorrhagic fever who was isolated at LUTH isolation centre. The NCDC, is its week eight report, revealed that the number of new confirmed cases had decreased from 115 in week seven to 102 cases in week eight.
