Newly appointed Tutor–General/Permanent Secretary (TGPS) of District VI in Lagos State Civil Service, Dr. Shareefah Yusuf, has promised to focus on deepening the reforms in the education sector and take the district to greater heights.
Lagos District IV, Tutor–General/Permanent Secretary , Mr Segun Osinaike ; Representative of Lagos State Commissioner for Education, TGPS District II, Mrs Anike Adekoye; Newly appointed District VI TGPS, Dr Shareefah Adejoke Yusuf and Former TGPS District VI, Mrs Oludara Okelola during the inauguration ceremony of newly appointed District VI Tutor–General/Permanent Secretary in Lagos.
She said: “I commend the state government’s transformational initiative to boost learning and teaching using technology. The TGPS of District II, Mrs. Anike Adekanye, who represented the Commissioner for Education, described Yusuf’s appointment as a result of her hard work, diligence and resilience in service. She prayed for her success in the new position.
“We are working hard in Lagos to ensure that students receive adequate education that will make them thrive locally and internationally, and the state government provides all necessary requirements,” she said.
