Kwara State Police Commissioner, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, on Monday, warned citizens of the state against alleged unscrupulous elements who have created various social media accounts” using his pictures.

A statement by the spokesman of the state police command, Mr Ajayi Okasanmi in Ilorin, condemned the fraudulent act saying “one of such is a Facebook account with the name Kpansa Terhem using the picture of the commissioner of police for obvious sinister motives. “The command wishes to state in unambiguous terms that the commissioner of police does not operate any Facebook account and as such wishes to warn the general public to beware of the antics of these social media bullies and fraudsters so as not to fall for their tricks,” the statement added.
