Kwankwaso, the 2023 NNPP presidential aspirant, pledged to significantly reduce the APC's votes in Kano State during the 2027 elections. He attributed the NNPP's success in the 2023 elections to the hard work of his team and the party's strong grassroots mobilization.
Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso , the 2023 presidential aspirant of the New Nigeria People’s Party, has vowed to significantly reduce the All Progressives Congress’ votes in Kano State during the 2027 elections . Kwankwaso disclosed this at his residence in Kano on Wednesday during a meeting with former councillors and senior special advisers, who served under the previous administration.
He expressed his gratitude to his team for their hard work during the 2023 elections, pointing out that their efforts caused the Peoples Democratic Party to secure only 15,000 votes in Kano. Kwankwaso attributed this success to the NNPP's remarkable feat, achieved despite being a new political platform with a late-starting campaign. 'Now, it’s our turn to diminish APC’s influence. We will work tirelessly to ensure their votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano come 2027”, he said. The former governor emphasized the need for dedication and grassroots mobilization to solidify the NNPP's position as a dominant force in Kano and beyond. Kwankwaso urged his supporters to remain focused on delivering results that would secure the party's success in future elections
