According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Nansel said the suspect allegedly broke into the apartment on Thursday, June 8, and stole some mobile phones and television.
He said policemen attached to the Masaka Police Division arrested Sunday following a tip-off, adding that upon interrogation, “the suspect confessed to have escaped from Kuje Correctional Centre when it was attacked in 2022.
