The family of the presumed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola, has expressed optimism that the Federal Government would pay the family all the presidential entitlements of the business mogul.
It, therefore, appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to look into its request.
He said the President Bola Tinubu-led government has the capacity to ensure that all “incentives due to Abiola get to the family.” Ameen said beyond payment of the entitlements, the Federal Government should implement most of the people-oriented policies Abiola promised Nigerians while alive. The governor used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to continue to pray and support the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying that fuel subsidy removal was in the best interest of the country.
