Aliyu stated that the police apprehended one of the suspects on November 19 at about 1 p.m. in Danmusa Local Government Area during a routine patrol along the Yantumaki-Kankara highway.
'They include a 29-year-old, Lawal Ahmad; Isma’il Dalhatu, 24, both of Basawa quarters, Sabon Gari, Zaria, Kaduna State; and Shafi’u Adamu, 28, of Danjaba village, Soba LGA, also in Kaduna State. '14 pairs of military uniforms and one police uniform were recovered from the suspects, which were believed to be intended for delivery to the armed bandits for their criminal operations in Katsina State,' he stated.
