The Katsina State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Bello Kagara, has revealed that the state government plans to allocate N20.4 billion for debt servicing in the proposed 2025 budget. This amount will be sourced from a total proposed budget of N682 billion. Governor Dikko Umaru Radda presented the budget estimate of N682,244,449,513.87 to the members of the state House of Assembly for the upcoming fiscal year.
