According to NAN, Marwan Ahmad, commissioner for works and housing, announced the reopening of the institutes at a press conference in Kano. The commissioner said the schools were created to train youth in several skills but were shut down by the Abdullahi Ganduje-led administration.“Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf has directed that all the 26 entrepreneurship institutes established by Sen. Kwankwaso’s administration which were abandoned by the previous administration, are hereby reopened,” the commissioner said.
