The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned from the position.
Lukman’s resignation was in protest over speculations that former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, should be named APC’s National Chairman. In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the current atmosphere within APC was not in tandem with the vision of the founding fathers. The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting National Chairman, Abubakar Kyari.He said it would be suicidal to replace Adamu with Ganduje.
