Kano police ban unauthorised use of sirens, unregistered vehicles
The Kano State Police Command, on Thursday officially banned the use of Siren by unauthorized persons, pointing out that even those categories, who are authorised often use them intermittently without any cause.
“Users are with specific guidelines and there are regulated hours when the siren cannot be blown. Specifically, sirens are blown between 6 am and terminate at 6 pm daily.” ” Therefore, the Commissioner of Police CP Gumel reminded members of the public to note that circulars have been issued to all Police formations, Divisions and Patrol Teams to engage in thorough checks, toward bringing violators to justice.
