The Kaduna State Government has elevated the former district head of Kufana, Chief Titus Dauda to a third-class chief. He is now known as Agom Kufana I.
Presenting a staff of office to Chief Titus Dauda at the temporary palace of Agom Kufana chiefdom in Kufana, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna on Thursday, the Director, Chieftancy Affairs, State Ministry of Local Government, Sani Galadimawa, said the development has come to stay in Kajuru and called on all residents in the community to support the new chief for the community to move forward.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Titus Dauda appreciated God Almighty and the government of Kaduna State for the honour, even as he promised his loyalty to his people and pledged his support for the development of his community.The Executive Chairman, Kajuru LGA, Mr Ibrahim Gajere who expressed joy, appreciated the governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai for his kind gestures, just as he urged all the people in the chiefdom to always rally around the new king and give him maximum support.
