The National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved November 15 and 16 as the dates for electing new members of the party’s National Working Committee .
Reading from the communiqué released after the meeting, PDP spokesperson Debo Ologunagba reassured members that the party remains “strong and united.” Ologunagba said NEC directed Umar Damagum, the acting national chairman, and Samuel Anyanwu, the national secretary, to write to the Independent National Electoral Commission about the election’s time, venue, and agenda.
