The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has reconfirmed Tony Aziegbemi-led Edo State Caretaker Committee, issuing stern warning to impostors to steer clear. This was contained in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Friday.
Ologunagba said, for clarity, the NWC on 6th May, 2025, pursuant to its powers under the Constitution of the PDP constituted the Tony Aziegbemi-led Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the Party in the State for a period of 90 days beginning from 6th May, 2025.
“The NWC states in clear terms and for the avoidance of any doubt that the Edo State Chapter of our party is under the leadership of the Dr Tony Aziegbemi-led Caretaker Committee. According to the statement, for emphasis, the members of the Edo State PDP Caretaker Committee are; Dr. Tony Aziegbemi - Chairman Hon. Harrison Omagbon -Member Hon. Fidel Igenegbale-Member Hon. Chris Nehikhare-Member Tony Anenih Jnr.-Member Arch. Bishop Anthony Okosun-Member Hon.
