High Court Judge Maryann Anenih has set December 10 for a bail ruling on former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello and two others, following arguments for and against the bail request.

Justice Maryann Anenih of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has fixed December 10 for ruling in the bail application s by former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello and two others. The Judge fixed the date after taking arguments from Bello's lawyer, Joseph Bodunde Dauda, SAN, and EFCC counsel, Kemi Pinheiro, SAN. Dauda argued for Bello's bail, stating the presumption of innocence and that Bello was not a flight risk.

Pinheiro countered, arguing that Bello may interfere with witnesses and exhibits. The judge ordered the three defendants to remain in EFCC custody until December 10
