The minister made the disclosure during a briefing in commemoration of the 2023 International Day for Rural Women themed “Rural Women Confront the Global Cost-of-living crisis,” in Abuja. Urging women and other stakeholders to to support the farmers especially women farmers with tools to reduce the labour burden, Ohaneye said this will boost crop yields.
Muhammed who also spoke on the theme of this year’s World Food Day, “Water is Life, Water is Food; Leave No One Behind”, said the two themes stress that production and consumption of safe food and water have immediate and long-term benefits for the people, the planet, and the economy. Conversations are underway between the Minerals and Miners Centre , London, United Kingdom, and Nigerians in the diaspora who are interested in participating in the business activities of the Nigerian solid minerals sector. Indeed, international interest groups on mineral beneficiation, gemstones trading and other aspects of mining are equally set to meet and strike deals…
