In Daring Raid, Robbers Kill 8 Police Officers, Rob Bank in Kogi
At least eight police officers and a civilian were killed by dare-devil armed robbery gang in Isanlu, Yagba East Local government area of the Kogi State Thursday.
Eyewitnesses told THISDAY that the armed robbers stormed Isanlu Community to rob a branch of First Bank in the town but first attacked the police station. It was learnt that after attacking the Police Station, the robbers moved to the bank where they opened fire and killed a woman who came to transact business.
Meanwhile in a video of the incident that had gone viral on social media, mangled bodies of the slain police officers were seen on the ground while the Divisional Police Station was shattered by the explosion.
