The Imo State Government on Friday blamed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of sponsoring false reports to damage
The state government also distanced itself from trending news on social media that Uzodimma faulted the Appeal Court judgment that acquitted and discharged Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
He added that the governor could not have questioned the verdict as implied by the fake news since he is a law-abiding Nigerian citizen who respects the rule of law. The commissioner stated that anyone familiar with the state governor’s character would verify that he had never insulted the court, even when decisions in personal matters did not go his way.
