Gunmen abduct 18 passengers in Rivers via politicsngr

Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped 18 passengers around Omerelu community axis of the Port Harcourt-Owerri road in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.According to a source, the 18-seater commercial bus was en route to Rivers State from Imo State when it was attacked.The shot driver is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.

When contacted, Grace Iringe-Koko, the Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed the development but said the number of abductees cannot be verified yet.“The DPO in that area and some tactical team have rescued one of the victims.
