Arewa leader Alhaji Musa Saidu has said the federal government should ignore a group, Northern Emancipation Network that kicked against his call on the government not to split the pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Tantita security services Nigeria Limited in the Niger Delta region.
The northern group in a statement in some national newspaper, dismissed the position of the revered northern leader, Alhaji Saidu, urging the federal government to go ahead to split the job. “I just read where a group called on the federal government to split the pipeline contract. They don’t live in Niger Delta.
” You can’t be in Abuja or somewhere else in the north talking about oil contracts in the Niger Delta.” I was Special Adviser to late Chief Harold Dappa Biriyi. I still stand on my position that they should not split the job.
