Tinubu, who was declared winner of the February 25 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said this while in Rivers State on the invitation of Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party to inaugurate some projects.

He said, “I went through a gruesome campaign, fought hard, supported by many of you and I won fair and square. Nyesom, I say thank you for your contribution to my victory.“I couldn’t have done it without some structural support you gave me which I can’t describe in my honouring of your invitation to commission this flyover.“In his excellency, I see a man of principle.
“My invitation to commission this project today is another way of building bridges, which cannot be overstated in Nigeria. It is on the strength of your character that I stand to fulfil the promise I made to you during the campaign,” he added.

Food prices continue to rise in March – NBSThe National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), said that prices of food items such as yam, beans and beef witnessed increases in March. This is contained in NBS Selected Food Prices Watch Report for March 2023 released in Abuja on Wednesday.
