Hundreds of Queensland homes are still without power as wild weather continues across the state.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for people in parts of Central Highlands and Coalfields, Central West and Maranoa and Warrego Forecast Districts predicting damaging winds, heavy rain and large hailstones. A “very dangerous” thunderstorm warning was issued for Caboolture with up to 60 millimetres of rain falling in just 30 minutes in nearby Delaney’s Creek.
