Guber poll: INEC declares APC’s Mala Buni winner in Yobe
Announcing the result early Monday morning, INEC’s Returning Officer for the governorship election, Professor Abubakar Musa Gundiri, who is the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Wukari, said Buni of APC emerged winner having scored the highest votes.Gundiri said Buni had scored a total of 444,013 votes to defeat his rival of the People’s Democratic Party , Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, that polled 95,703 votes.
