Foremost telecommunications firm, Globacom, yesterday, presented another set of prizes to winners in Onitsha, Anambra State, in its ongoing Festival of Joy promo.
Thirty-year-old construction technician, Chukwuemeka Chikezie, received keys to a brand new car, while others went home with different home appliances, including power generating sets, sewing machines and rechargeable fans.
Chikezie, who lauded the firm for transforming his life, explained that he received the confirmatory call on Tuesday while working on a project in Enugu, far away from his Onitsha base, stating: “I found it difficult that I could become an instant car winner just like that.” Speaking at the event, Transition Chairman of Onitsha South Local Council, Emeka Orji, who commended Globacom for putting the promo in place, expressed his joy that the occasion held in his territory.
