I have been following your articles and digesting them for the past three weeks and how I wished I knew about your column earlier. I wouldn’t have messed up and failed everybody. How I wish God could give me a chance.
I graduated at the age of 17 in 2016 then sat for UTME four times with the least score of 221 in all four sittings because I was professional course-conscious and didn’t want to settle for just any course! All through I was at home, helping dad on the farm because he is a commercial farmer. Fast forward to 2019, I hooked up with an old friend and we both had sexual intercourse in 2020 for the first time on my part while he also claimed that it was his first time as well.
I know I have failed everyone, but how do I even tell my parents about my status and how do I tell them to undergo screening? I can’t even concentrate on my studies, I’m so heart-broken and losing my mind.
Hmm…you see, not every bad or unsavoury thing that happens to us in life is our making. A lot of things that happen to us in life were fated to happen and some are designed by the enemy to confuse us and derail us from our divine paths of destiny. If you had been warned over and over again against having a boyfriend and you refused to listen and got into trouble, I’m sorry you have to bear the consequences of the path you chose to follow but eventually you have to forget about the troubles that come with it and align yourself with God so His divine agenda for you can manifest.
