The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has asked the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, to provide measures that will mitigate the suffering
The spokesman of the APC in Rivers State, Darlington Nwauju, said governance should not be regarded as a chieftaincy coronation, but rather as a position to help the people.
He said, “Governance is not a chieftaincy ceremony. The Rivers State Governor must put on his thinking cap, roll up his sleeves and come up with viable counterbalancing and concomitant measures to mitigate the impact of this subsidy removal on our people.
