Four goat thieves caught in Gombe
The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, while parading the suspects, explained that the gang usually operated in a tricycle.
He said, “Men of the Gombe division acted on an intelligence report on a syndicate of thieves that specialised in using tricycles to steal goats from Malam Inna and Wuro Kesa communities, and selling them. They were arrested at their various hideouts; the suspects confessed voluntarily to having carried out the act.”“Investigation is still ongoing and the case will soon be taken to court. Exhibits recovered included one tricycle and one goat.
Meanwhile, Abubakar also paraded four suspected robbers, Adamu Mohammed, 21; Abdulmummini Saidu, 20; and Ibrahim Adamu, 19, for allegedly dispossessing four students of the Gombe Science Technical College, Kwami, of their valuables.
