The former Governor of Zamfara State, Ahmed Sani Yarima, has advised Governor Dauda Lawal to work with President Bola Tinubu's administration to win the war against banditry in the state. Yarima, who was the first executive governor of the state, noted this while reacting to the utterances of Governor Dauda against the minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.
'The political squabble between governor Dauda Lawal and his predecessor, Bello Matawalle, now minister of State for Defence, is long overdue and is seriously affecting the State. 'The media war between the two leaders should be put aside, they should face other challenges bedevilling the state, particularly the security of lives and property of the people of Zamfara State.
