He said the subsidy had reduced the market price of the fertilisers from N26,000 to N19,000 per bag to relieve farmers of the financial burden. “Our aim is to empower our farmers with the essential resources to enhance crop yields, improve soil fertility, increase profitability, and achieve sustainable agricultural practices.

“This informed my approval of the distribution method that captured adequately our small, medium, and large-scale farmers,” he said.
