Drivers were told to plan ahead due to disruption on Nottingham's roads
Incidents on multiple Nottinghamshire A-roads caused long traffic delays this evening . Flooding closed one lane of the A52 Brian Clough Way towards Nottingham between its junctions with the A6007 Ilkeston Road for Bramcote and the B6003 Toton Lane for Bardills Island and Stapleford.
The closure was near the junction with Green Lane for Clifton, due to a broken down lorry which was first reported at around 5.30pm and cleared by around 7pm. Buses were diverted and traffic heading towards the M1 southbound was heavily affected. The outbound side of Queens Drive, back into Nottingham, is also heavily affected, INRIX said.All lanes open, earlier flooding on A52 Brian Clough Way Westbound between A6007 Ilkeston Road and B6003 Toton Lane .
