MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Our stretch of hot and muggy conditions will continue into Sunday and for the start of next week. The only relief from the heat will be in the form of rain, which will continue to be scattered in nature Sunday… with that trend remaining the norm for the start to next week.
Highs Sunday will remain in the lower to middle 90s under a mix of sun and clouds. Expect humid conditions, with feels like temperatures in the 100s. The chance for scattered rain and storms remains present and while not a washout by any means… have a rain back up plan in place, if you have outdoor plans Sunday. Overnight lows will hover in the 70s.
Each day will see the chance for scattered rain and storms, which is fairly typical for summer. Overnight lows will be mild to warm in the 70s. Direct Alabama impacts are highly unlikely, but we’ll keep a close eye on it. Indirect impacts look to include high surf and rip current risk across the Alabama and Florida Panhandle beaches this weekend and into early next week.
