The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Council Of Traditional Rulers, Niger State, Yahaya Abubakar has called on all the traditional rulers and relevant stakeholders to support the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, AGILE, for the development of the girl child in the state.
The Royal father made the call during a visit by the First Lady of Niger State, Hajiya Fatima Muhammed Bago on advocacy at his palace in Bida, Bida local government area of the state.
Also, the state Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, and Chairman of the State Steering Committee on AGILE, Hajiya Hadiza Asabe Muhammad who gave the Royal Father the brief on the core objectives of the project, reiterated the State government's commitment to promoting girl child education and all inclusive education in the state.
