The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has stated that the rush for medical treatment abroad will be greatly reduced if medical facilities across the country are standardised and fully equipped to meet global standards.
Abubakar said this at the official commissioning of Primary Healthcare Centre built and equipped by Sunti Sugar Company for Kanzhi Community in Mokwa Local Council of Niger State.
He added that the company conducted an independent need assessment of her host communities and identified priority thematic areas for development and investment using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as reference.
