Arsenal midfielder, Martin Odegaard has revealed why he has been in the form of his life this season.
The Norwegian said his outstanding form for Arsenal this season is due to conversations with the club’s coaching staff. The 24-year-old former Real Madrid midfielder, was given the club’s captain armband by manager Mikel Arteta after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract was terminated. The Norway international has been instrumental to the Gunners’ title bid this season, scoring eight league goals and providing five assists in 17 games.Speaking to Viaplay, the Gunners captain said, “It’s about how we play and my role in the team and my focus; I’ve worked on it a lot.
“I’ve talked a lot with the coaches about getting into the right areas of the field. It’s a lot about the mindset, and a lot more. It’s nice that hard work pays off.”
