Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has officially been crowned Premier League Golden Boot winner for the 2022-2023 campaign.The Norway international was unable to improve his tally of 36 goals as he was left on the bench as Man City finished their league campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Brentford on Sunday.
Haaland’s team-mate Kevin De Bruyne – who was left out of the squad entirely against Brentford, on the other hand, claims the Playmaker award for the most assists with 16. Meanwhile, the Golden Boot is just the latest award in Haaland’s collection, having also become the first player to be awarded both Player of the Season and Young Player of the Year in the Premier League’s annual awards.
The 22-year-old also claimed the Football Writers’ Footballer of the Year award earlier this month and lifted his first Premier League trophy with Manchester City last Sunday.
