The 22-year-old has scored 36 goals in the English Premier League , breaking the competition’s record for most goals in a season.He was voted player of the season by the public, the captains of the 20 Premier League clubs and a panel of soccer experts. The Norwegian saw off competition from Kevin De Bruyne, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Kieran Trippier, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.He joins the list of Man City players who have won the award for four straight seasons, with Kevin De Bruyne taking the honour in 2019-20 and 2021-22 seasons and Ruben Dias in 2020-21 term.honouredHe had polled 82 percent of the vote to win the gong ahead of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
