Former Barcelona striker Gary Lineker has rated struggling Arsenal star Kai Havertz ahead of Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Tottenham’s
All three players are struggling for form at their respective clubs so far this season.
Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea over the summer transfer window, is yet to score a goal or provide an assist in five games across competitions, including the Premier League for the Gunners. However, Lineker believes Havertz in comparison to Martial and Richarlison, insisting that the Germany international had a record of achievement in the past.“Martial has the talent, but I don’t know if he is a bit soft mentally or unlucky with injuries.
“I would personally put Havertz first, then either or, maybe Martial, because he has a record, and Richarlison still has it to do, although I think he is capable.”Related Topics:
